Handgun Safety and Purchase
This is a two hour course for the responsible gun owner who needs to understand the requirements for safe handling and storage. It is a great introduction for those considering purchasing a handgun. Discussion covers firearm safety at home, while carrying, and at the range. Course also makes recommendations for handgun and equipment selection. Weapons will be available for display, handling and disassembly.
You will learn the following:
- Weapons handling safety
- Weapon handling in the home, and in public
- How to keep guns safely in the house with children
- Equipment recommendations
- Safe handling drills with blue (plastic) guns
- Choosing the right gun, ammunition and accessories
NO WEAPONS WILL BE FIRED IN THIS INTRODUCTORY COURSE. NO LOADED WEAPONS MAY BE BROUGHT INTO THE CLASSROOM.
