This 5 day course begins with advanced pistol and rifle craft and includes techniques such as 360 degree fire, wounded fire, team tactics, and shooting on the move. Students also learn dismounted and mounted formations which include control and evacuation of principals, defensive perimeters, convoy planning, merging, blocking, turns, ramming, checkpoint tactics, and vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices.

Course includes day and night practical exercises using marking ammunition.
