3 to 5 days. The course begins with analysis of criminal and terrorist operations, indicators of attack, methods to predict attack, terrorist activity analysis, and analysis of student movement. Determination of likely attack zones are also identified as well as locations for potential hostile surveillance and corollary safe and defensible areas. Students will be able to use what they have been taught to plan their own routes to maximize surveillance detection and protection. A practical exercise using the student created route concludes this course along with a debrief and enhancement of current travel routes.
