This is a package course which provides the number of days needed to fulfill all your requirements. Students develop the basic building blocks of skills they need for security duty. The course begins with basic pistol techniques and qualification, including a night fire familiarization. Next, officers are given the skills they need for de-escalation through the use of verbal commands, defensive tactics, and handcuffs. A segment is included that trains the students on traffic control. Tactics are included for making routine or high-risk vehicle stops. The final day provides training in tactics for a variety of situations, reviews policies and case studies, then gives the students hands-on experience in realistic scenarios. 

An optional day is available that completes the classroom portion of the requirements for AZ Conceal Carry of Weapons permit.
